Guaranty Federal Bancshares Inc. in Springfield, Mo., is offering its commercial customers IronKey's Trusted Access to protect against malware on their personal computers.

Trusted Access will be required for all cash management customers and offered to all business banking customers for the $648 million-asset bank. The product allows the bank to meet new Federal Financial Institutions Examinations Council guidelines, IronKey said Wednesday.

IronKey said that Trusted Access is offered to banks in a combination of software and cloud-based network services. The software can be downloaded or run from a secure USB device.

The program launches a protected, virtualized operating system and Web browser that only works with IronKey's Trusted Network and that allows only the end user to access bank-approved sites.
