Wells Fargo Posts Android App on Amazon App Store

Wells Fargo & Co. said Tuesday that its mobile banking app for Android-powered devices is now available in the Amazon Appstore.

"Our goal is to provide services that are relevant to our customers, and Wells Fargo customers are enthusiastic about anytime, anywhere mobile banking," Brian Pearce, head of the retail mobile channel at Wells Fargo's internet services group, said in a news release. "We are excited about the benefits mobile banking offers consumers, from better day-to-day money management to greater peace of mind."

Besides Amazon, Wells Fargo mobile banking apps are available through the Android Market, the Apple App Store, BlackBerry App World and HP App Catalog. The San Francisco-based company said that it has more than 7 million active customers using its mobile capabilities.
