Ally Bank Offers Customers Security Software

Ally Bank announced Friday that it's offering its customers security software.

The direct banking subsidiary of Ally Financial claims its Webroot SecureAnywhere security software blocks malware, phishing attacks and keyloggers, among other criminal attacks. The software updates automatically.

"Security for our Ally Bank customers is paramount, and the Webroot offering is just one example of how we are delivering on our promise to be obviously better," said Diane Morais, Ally’s deposits and line of business integration executive, in a press release.

She added that when any customer’s information is exposed on the internet, that puts all its depositors at risk.
