Generation Mortgage Company has unveiled a new platform for originations.
The reverse-mortgage lender on Friday launched Orchestrator, which Generation Mortgage says is an Internet-based system that improves service for companies that originate loans on Generation's behalf.
Orchestrator, which uses software from technology vendor Mortgage Cadence, is said to speed downloads, improve management of loan applications, streamline the flow of work and strengthen security.
"Our goal is to constantly increase the ease of using our services so that our partners can maximize the opportunity to grow and thrive in the industry," Walt Carter, Generation's chief information officer, said in a press release. "We believe our new loan origination platform achieves our high standards for providing the best partner services in the business."
Generation Mortgage said it expects to move to the new system beginning March 1.
