Fisoc has added a community bank and four credit unions to its Buzz Points program.

Buzz Points is a merchant-funded loyalty program that helps banks and credit unions connect to consumers and merchants through social media and offer rewards. The company's new customers include Fidelity Bank in Scranton, Penn., Directions Credit Union in Toledo, Ohio, Fond du Lac Credit Union in Wisconsin, Union Square Federal Credit Union in Wichita Falls, Texas, and Community Service Credit Union in Huntsville, Texas, fisoc said Tuesday.

"The recent completion of our C Round of funding is enabling us to grow our marketing and sales teams," Jay Valanju, fisoc's chief executive, said in a news release. "As a result we are increasing the pace of our expansion in the Midwest, Northeast and Southeast regions of the U.S."

Fisoc raised $5 million in fresh capital in December from investors including Greycroft Partners, KEC Holdings and Metamorphic Ventures.
