HP Autonomy has added a customer for its information management software.
The Hewlett-Packard unit said recently that Rabobank International, the international banking arm of the Netherlands-based Rabobank, will use Autonomy's Enterprise Content Management platform to automate the company's management of documents.
The software gives Rabobank International a single system for managing records of transactions while lowering costs and satisfying legal and regulatory requirements, according to Autonomy.
The software is said to classify records of transactions by their so-called legal entity and unique swap identifiers, as well as gather information from emails, voicemails and documents. The software also automates management of legal agreements, term sheets, trade confirmations and other documents company-wide, according to Autonomy.
"Autonomy enables financial institutions to address new regulatory needs and challenges, identify and manage risks and streamline business processes, through intelligent automation and advanced information management," Neil Araujo, Autonomy's general manager for enterprise content management, said in a press release.
