American Bank in Fond du Lac, Wis., has agreed to buy InvestorsBank in Waukesha, Wis.
American Bank, a unit of NEB Corp., will have more than $450 million in assets when the merger is completed, the Milwaukee Business Journal
NEB has 27 branches and roughly $1.5 billion in assets in Wisconsin. It also owns National Exchange Bank & Trust in Fond du Lac.
The Cleveland-based bank is projecting steady growth in net interest income even as credit losses remain manageable. But Chairman and CEO Chris Gorman also said that he thinks a recession is likely.
