Bank of Lancaster in Va. Names Pittman Chief Lending Officer

Bank of Lancaster in Kilmarnock, Va., has promoted Susan Pittman to the newly created position of chief lending officer.

Pittman has succeeded Doug Jenkins, who was recently promoted to chief banking officer at the $422 million-asset bank, said Kylie Bransford, vice president of marketing. Bank of Lancaster is owned by Bay Banks of Virginia.

Pittman was previously senior vice president and commercial lending officer, a role she held since 2005. In her new role she will manage all commercial lending for the bank and chair its management loan committee.

Pittman has worked in commercial lending since she joined the bank in 2002. Before that, she worked in business assurance services at PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG.
