CVB Financial in Ontario, Calif., has appointed entertainment industry veteran Kristina Leslie to its board.
The $7.7 billion-asset company on Monday named Leslie a director of both the holding company and Citizens Business Bank. CVB did not indicate if Leslie filled a vacancy or if it expanded its board.
Leslie has a diverse corporate background. Before her retirement in 2007, she was chief financial officer of DreamWorks Animation and she led the company through its $840 million IPO in 2004. She also previously worked in financial and strategic planning for Viacom.
Leslie is currently chairman of Pico Holdings in La Jolla, Calif., a real estate and water rights holding company. She's also a director of Orbitz Worldwide and Blue Shield of California.
Leslie previously served as a director of Methodist Hospital of Southern California, Obagi Medical Products and Bare Escentuals.
