Santa Cruz County Bank in Calif. Names Chief Lending Officer

Santa Cruz County Bank in California has named Angelo DeBernardo its chief lending officer.

The $478 million-asset bank promoted DeBernardo to the position Thursday. The chief lending officer position is newly created.

DeBernardo joined Santa Cruz County Bank when it was founded in 2004. He was previously the bank's senior lending officer and he serves on its senior management committee.

DeBernardo previously worked for Heritage Bank of Commerce in San Jose, Calif., and for Pacific Western Bank.
