LONDON (HedgeWorld.com) — A financial specialist executive search firm recently hired a team of consultants with expertise in the hedge fund industry. Stephens Associates has brought on board Zak Allom, Tim Tucker and Andy Smith.
The hiring is expected to strengthen the asset management recruiting side of the business. The team has more than 10 years experience searching for traditional investment, private banking and wealth management clients. In a statement, Mr. Allom noted that hedge funds of funds, in particular, are a niche area of growth within the alternatives arena that the firm intended to exploit.
Mr. Tucker, the veteran consultant of the team, added that the combination of the team’s research capability and asset management expertise with Stephens’ track record would optimize their market coverage.
All three men were previously with Leader Financial Research.
