MADISON, Wis. – Heritage CU, formerly an Oscar Mayer employees' credit union, has agreed to acquire A-B CU, an ailing, one-time $56 million Milwaukee credit union.
A-B CU, chartered to serve employees of Allen Bradley manufacturing company, had a loss of $1.1 million in 2009 and a loss of $2.2 million for 2010.
The new credit union will hold $210 million in assets and serve 26,000 members with a total of eight branches located throughout Wisconsin and Illinois.
