AUSTIN, Texas – A+ FCU said its A+ Education Foundation awarded grants to nine San Marcos school district teachers.
The grants went to fund projects like: "Raising the Bar for Students with Special Needs," "Science is N.E.A.T," "Poetry Published" and "Motivate Students to Participate: Teaching Peers Through Podcast Lessons."
The A+ Education Foundation awarded grants to 65 teachers across Texas in their 2009 grant program, giving more than $60,000 to help fund projects. The grants are available to full-time educators of kindergarten through twelfth grade.
