Ala. CUs Invest In Compliance

The Alabama league said it will invest $75,000 in "League Infosight," a new online compliance system for credit unions. "We are extremely excited about the potential benefits that League Infosight can provide for our member credit unions, and plan to offer this world-class compliance system to our members at no additional cost, by adding it to our growing list of dues-supported services," said ACUL CEO Gary Wolter.

The decision to make the investment came during the league's planning session here, during which it said it also made plans to develop and implement a plan to prevent any taxation of CUs in the event of a failure of the statewide tax ballot initiative on Sept. 9.
