Alogent Wins Patent on Teller-Deposit Automation

ALPHARETTA, Ga. – Alogent Corp., the provider of Check 21 automation systems, yesterday said it was granted a U.S. patent for its integrated front/back counter teller deposit automation process.

The patent addresses functionality within the company’s Sierra Xpedite Deposit Automation Solution, which manages the deferral of specific teller transactions for more efficient handling.

Last week, the company announced the sale of Sierra Xpedite and Sierra Xchange teller deposit automation to America First CU, the $4 billion Utah credit union.
