Also In-Store

FORT WORTH, Texas-The $514-million EECU has opened two in-store branches and is preparing to build two more.

Working with Atlanta-based IBT, EECU has opened the facilities inside Albertson's grocery stores.

"We were looking for a financially stable partner that focused on the community and offered well-maintained, viable locations within those communities," said Robert Rogers, CEO of EECU.

EECU staff were given a two-day course by IBT in the "art of speaking with shoppers in the aisles of a supermarket."

EECU is using remote teller system (RTS) technology, rather than traditional teller windows, to provide efficient and quick service, while ensuring safety and security for both members and employees. For info: www. ibtsource.com.
