NEW YORK – American Airlines FCU, one of a handful of credit unions serving the entire air transportation industry, opened a new full service branch at Kennedy International Airport.
The $4.3 billion credit union’s new branch is an upgrade from an existing facility at the major airport hub, and is part of plans to renovate several of its 43 branches. This new branch, located in International Terminal 8, provides a 24-hour ATM, a spacious lobby area and improved handicap accessibility.
The 71-year-old credit union originally was chartered to serve employees of American Airlines but now serves any employee or the family member in the air transportation industry.
