APCO Employee Credit Union in Birmingham, Ala., has named Derrick Ragland as its next chief executive and president.
Ragland will succeed the $2.5 billion credit union's current CEO and president, Merrill Mann, who is stepping down at the end of the calendar year.
An APCO Employees Credit Union employee for 33 years, Ragland currently serves as chief operating officer.
The credit union serves employees and family members of Alabama Power Company, Southern Company Services and other employee groups.
