JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A team of thieves with a stolen backhoe tried to steal a VyStar CU ATM early Wednesday morning.
Police responded to the scene at about 4:30 a.m. after a passerby called 911. They said suspects used the tractor with a backhoe to pull the ATM out of the ground, then fled the scene.
The thieves apparently failed to open the ATM and access the cash.
