MANCHESTER, N.H. –- Bellwether Community CU will once again make Thanksgiving dinner possible for over 150 needy families, with its staff delivering 2,000 pounds of turkeys to local food bank.
The credit union’s donation will allow the food bank, known as New Horizons, to create and distribute Thanksgiving food baskets to local families in need. Each basket will be filled with a turkey and a variety of non-perishable items.
New Horizons provides food, shelter and supportive services to adults and children in Greater Manchester. Each month, the organization provides food to over 700 households. This holiday season, the organization is anticipating an increased need.
