Berrish Joins Fed's Thrift Advisory Council

The Fed has named the five new members of its Thrift Advisory Council, including Frank E. Berrish, CEO of Visions FCU, Endicott, N.Y. He will join another CU representative already serving on the panel, Jeffrey H. Farver, CEO, San Antonio FCU. TIAC is an advisory group established by the Fed in 1980, which meets three times a year with the Board of Governors to discuss developments relating to thrift institutions, mortgage finance, and certain regulatory issues.
