BETHPAGE, N.Y. Bethpage FCU has hired Jack Bransfield, former president of Roslyn Savings Bank, as a consultant to facilitate community outreach programs, as well as provide counsel on real estate and development initiatives.
Bransfield recently retired from his position as president of Roslyn Savings Bank, which he joined in 1993, and which was acquired by New York Community Bancorp in 2001. Bransfield also is the retired chairman of the New York Community Bank Foundation.
“Jack has attained many great achievements in Long Island’s banking arena over the years and is a recognized leader, known for his valued counsel and advancements in community banking initiatives,” said Kirk Kordeleski, president of the $5-billion credit union.
