MONTGOMERY, Ala. – One of two men who was arrested within minutes after robbing Mutual Savings CU last May was sentenced to 30 years in prison Monday for his role in the failed hold-up.

Courteney Orum and Keith Sexton approached the credit union that morning posing as lawn maintenance workers with dust masks, a lawn mower and other tools, pretending to work on the lawn as the credit union opened, police said. When employees arrived to work, Sexton allegedly forced entry using a BB gun, while Orum waited outside as a lookout and getaway card driver.
The robbers were foiled when one of the employees activated an alarm and brought police, who arrested Orum within minutes. Sexton escaped, but was later identified by Orum and arrested.
