FRISCO, Texas - (05/04/05) -- CashWorks, a unit of GE ConsumerFinance, said it has introduced a mini-kiosk platform that willoffer consumers check cashing and bill payment services. The kioskswill allow customers with CashWorks cards to draw cash, and eventhose without a CashWorks card the ability to pay bills at more tan4,400 companies, including utilities, cable and phone companies.The kiosks will be launched at 34 Quick Trip convenience stores inthe Wichita, Kan., area at the end of July. CashWorks is anoperating subsidiary of GE Money Bank which allows operations inall 50 states.
