Central Florida CUs Are Teaming Up On $60K Radio Buy To Boost Awareness

ORLANDO - As CU Journal reported Nov. 12, credit unions in central Florida are buying $60,000 worth of radio time to promote credit unions as financial institutions. Organized by the Central Florida Chapter of Credit Unions, the ads appeared across 12 stations in the Orlando MSA.

Stations were selected to target adults age 18 to 54, with a message that you are eligible to join one of the many credit unions located in Central Florida and credit unions are a better choice. The following are the radio scripts:

Radio Ad No. 1:

Woman Voice Over: Hey there. If you can you hear me, you are eligible to join a Central Florida credit union and get the same big bank products and services but with lots of credit union advantages.
