BENTON, Ark. - (02/13/06) People who bounce checks oncredit unions and banks in Saline County can now pay restitutiononline with their credit card. The system is coordinated with thecounty prosecutors office, which notifies all checkscofflaws. Scofflaws make a payment by using their last name andhot check identification number provided by the county prosecutor.Then they can enter a payment amount and credit card details on thecountys secure web site. People with active warrants mustpay those first before using the online system.
