RALEIG, N.C. - (09/14/05) -- Coastal FCU said it has signed asecond multi-year contract with Time Warner Telecom to provide allof its voice, video and Internet services for its network ofbranches, headquarters, ATMs and disaster recovery site. Thecompany is currently installing IP-based Virtual Private Networkservices to 21 Coastal FCU ATMs, which will be completed inOctober. Earlier this year, Time Warner Telecom installed VersiPak,a bundled voice and data network solution, in all of the creditunion's locations. The company also installed a wide-area metroEthernet solution called Extended Native LAN and Ethernet InternetService with 100 Mbps connectivity between Coastal FCU's Raleighheadquarters and its Charlotte data facilities for businesscontinuity.
