Colorado League Names Dill As New CEO

The Colorado/Wyoming Credit Union League has named John C. Dill as its new president and CEO. Dill will assume the job in early March.

New to credit unions, Dill was previously offering government affairs representation, community affairs assistance, coalition building and strategic policy planning consulting through his company, John C. Dill, LLC.

From 1985-1988, he served as Colorado's Director of Economic Development, the state's top business official.

As a member of the Governor's cabinet, Dill acted as a senior advisor on a variety of legislative, legal and public policy issues throughout the state.

Dill also worked for 10 years in Washington as a senior aid to U.S. Rep. James R. Jones of Oklahoma, where he served as legislative director, and was a partner in the Washington, D.C.-based law firm of Dickstein, Shapiro and Morin.

From 1993-1995, Dill served as senior vice president of government affairs for the National Retail Federation.

Dill fills a vacancy created by the retirement of long-time CEO Carroll Beach.
