Ent Credit Union has expanded its field of membership to include six additional Colorado counties, following approval from the state’s Division of Financial Services.
The Colorado Springs-based CU announced Tuesday it will now service businesses and individuals that live, work, worship or attend schools across Adams, Boulder, Broomfield, Larimer and Weld Counties.

The expansion should boost the credit union’s membership in those six counties, which stood at 16,000 at the end of Q3 2018. All told, Ent serves 330,000 members across Colorado.
Ent CEO Chad Graves said in a statement the $5.4 billion-asset credit union continues to look for field-of-membership expansion opportunities as part of its long-term growth strategy to hedge the institution against economic downturns.
“We are actively working on locations for new service centers and Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs) in these communities, which will provide increased service convenience for our current member-owners,” said Graves.
Ent posted a net income of more than $27.4 million during the first half of 2018, an increase of more than 14 percent over the first half of 2017.
