SANTA ROSA, Calif.–Community First Credit Union here has become the fifth credit union to join Credit Union Shared Resources, a CUSO aimed at lowering costs related to offering online services.

Other participants are Allied Credit Union in Stockton, First FCU and Community Trust Credit Union, both of Modesto, and Tracy FCU in Tracy, Calif. The five credit unions will share in the costs of building and maintaining a more robust technology solution.
CU Shared Resources reported it could accommodate up to another 20 similar-sized credit unions in the venture.
