NEFCU Participates In AIDS Walk

WESTBURY, N.Y. Nassau Educators Federal Credit Union participated in the Long Island Association for AIDS Care's Light Up the Sky event. The Nassau Educators FCU team collected $7,658 at the AIDS Walk, which is a 5K pledged walkathon.

RFCU Donates $6,500 To CMN

WARNER ROBINS, Ga. Robins Federal Credit Union presented a $6,507 check at the Annual National Children's Miracle Network Telethon. Members of the Georgia Chapter of Credit Unions also presented a second check for $6,584.

In additional news, the credit union named James R. Stevens as the winner of a Palm Pilot during the credit union's recent online promotion.

The credit union also awarded Franklin Ard, Jennifer Lan, Gwendolyn Reid, Richard Fleck, and Clarisse Steans $1,000 scholarships.

CSCFCU Supports Local Charities

WALLINGFORD, Conn. Constitution State Corporate Federal Credit Union supported charities through the sale of raffle tickets to benefit the Connecticut Charitable Foundation. Employees sold 3,500 raffle tickets to raise a total of $7,000 for the foundation. The credit union rewarded employees who sold more than 50 tickets with windbreakers.

SSFCU Raises $50,000 For CMN

SAN ANTONIO, Texas Security Service Federal Credit Union held its 16th annual golf classic and raised more than $50,000 for the Children's Miracle Network to benefit Christus Santa Rosa Children's Hospital.

TECH FCU Awards Scholarships

ROANOKE, Va. TECH Federal Credit Union awarded Charles McRaven the Fritz Kehn Scholarship. The Charles Perkins Scholarship winners were: Paul Hiner, Krystal D. Allen, and Tammy Johnson. All recipients received $1,000 toward college.

MCUA Holds Bass Tourney For CMN

ST. LOUIS, Mo. The Missouri Credit Union Association held the 7th annual Buddy Bass Tournament, which attracted 153 fishing enthusiasts, and raised $9,370 for the Children's Miracle Network.

ACU Participates In Tour de Cure

MECHANICSBURG, Penn. AmerChoice Federal Credit Union partnered with The American Diabetes Association for the 2003 Tour de Cure, which attracted more than 350 riders, who biked along the roads of Boiling Springs, Carlisle, and Newville to raise money to prevent and cure diabetes.
