DES MOINES Police are looking for a motorist who stopped a picked up a bag of cash that had fallen out of the rear of an armored van that was leaving Community Choice CU downtown this morning.

The cash bag fell out of the van when a door malfunctioned as the vehicle was turning a corner, according to police.
The driver of a red Chevy Cavalier stopped his car, picked up the bag and left the scene.
The car has Iowa plates and police said they know the license plate number and are now looking for the car.
