The $200 million-asset CorePlus said in a press release Monday that it plans to switch to COCC's Insight platform because members had demanded certain technologies that were difficult to offer under the current system.

"Our search team was quite impressed with COCC's software and its commitment to keeping up to date with financial service technology," Nicholas Fortson, president and chief executive of CorePlus, said in the release. "Having a core provider in state is a huge advantage for us and satisfies our objective of supporting Connecticut-based businesses."

CorePlus also decided to partner with COCC for its staff development that "offers offers routine training for its client base" and "monitoring service standards and client satisfaction," Fortson added.

CorePlus has more than 21,000 members across eight branches throughout eastern Connecticut. COCC is based in Southington, Conn.
