TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Credit Union 24 this week will announce the addition of the entire Allpoint network to its CU HERE surcharge-free program, creating what is says will be the largest surcharge-free ATM network in the United States.
The Allpoint ATMs will be a part of the CU HERE Premium program, an offshoot
of Credit Union 24's surcharge-free CU HERE network, which combines ATMs at
participating credit unions with Allpoint machines at Publix supermarkets with MoneyPass network locations.
The combined network will provide credit unions with more than 45,000 surcharge-free ATMs nationwide, with locations in all 50 states. The expanded CU HERE network will
take effect in February 2008.
The deal represents a further expansion of Cardtronics, the parent of Allpoint, into the credit union market, following Cardtronics’ acquisition of 7-Eleven’s 5,500 ATMs just as they were being connected to the Financial Service Centers Cooperative, the shared branching network for credit unions.
