CUES Freshens Site; Adds New Simulation Software

The Credit Union Executives Society has redesigned its website at www.cues.org.

"The enhanced site complements CUES' new corporate branding initiative and makes navigating easier," CUES said.

The new site's organizational structure features CUES' new "families" to help users locate information more effectively. The primary sections of www.cues.org are now: conferences, executive education, products, strategic services, membership, and Credit Union Management magazine. "Live Help" is featured more prominently throughout the site, along with quick links to the areas most popular for members.

The improved site also allows users to narrow search results with the ability to seek out a category or topic, or a combination of the two, CUES stated, adding that results are displayed by section, providing convenient navigation while surfing the CUES site.

Separately, CUES, in partnership with Decision Strategies International, Inc. (DSI), the West Conshohocken, Penn.-based strategy consulting firm specializing in executive education and software development, has introduced SimCU, the first scenario-based simulation software for credit unions.

"SimCU offers a mix of financial and non-financial decision options based on industry-specific choices. It allows a credit union to work through a series of decisions based on different future environments and instantly see the results play out," CUES said. "SimCU is also a hands-on training tool for board and staff to understand how every decision they make can influence the credit union's long-term performance."

SimCU is built around the four scenarios developed by CUES and DSI for credit unions to consider when planning for the future.
