CUES Names 2013 Exceptional Leader Award Recipient

MADISON, Wis. The Credit Union Executives Society said William “Willy” K. Kelsey, EVP/chief operations officer, Texas Trust Credit Union, Mansfield, Texas, is its 2013 CUES Exceptional Leader award winner.

Kelsey will be honored at CUES’ CEO/Executive Team Network, Nov. 3-6, at the Rancho Bernardo Inn in San Diego.

Among the many accomplishments during his 24-year career, Kelsey headed efforts to restructure the mortgage department at Texas Trust. That restructuring enabled Texas Trust to achieve record mortgage loan production. In 2012, the Dallas Business Journal ranked Texas Trust as the 16th-largest overall mortgage lender in the Dallas-Fort Worth market, and the top credit union mortgage lender based on 2011 results.
