WASHINGTON - (08/18/04) CUNA’s Katie Herberger, who isthe trade association’s liaison to the World Council ofCredit Unions, is meeting with credit unions in Mexico this week.That follows visits with credit unions in Paraguay during which sheshared advice on how to lobby that country’s legislature.CUNA said that one reason for Herberger’s trip will be to"better articulate to Congress how the U.S. AID funds are beingspent,” said CUNA’s Gary Kohn.
