NORTH CANTON, Ohio - (05/05/06) -- Diebold said Thursday it haslaunched a new service that will allow it to perform remotetroubleshooting and problem diagnosis for its ATM Opteva models.The OpteView Remote Services supports Diebold's Opteva family ofATMs and initiates service delivery before a technician is evendispatched to an ATM site. The service, developed in conjunctionwith Axeda Corp., allows Diebold to begin problem resolution byremotely accessing data for a complete, detailed state of healthfor every ATM module. The level of diagnosis is only availableusing Diebold's Opteva hardware and Agilis softwareplatforms.
