TriCipher's main systemenhances login security beyond username and password by storing asecond factor of identity authentication on each user's PC. Acredit union can choose to incorporate additional layers ofauthentication, like challenging questions and temporary passcodes,downloaded software modules, USB memory tokens, or other methods ofauthentication. TriCipher, which was formerly known as NSDSecurity, is based in San Mateo, Calif.
