Employee Charged With Stealing From Members

DeFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. – A former employee at Walton County Teachers FCU here has been charged with stealing more than $30,000 from the personal accounts of three members.

According to the Walton County Sheriff’s Office and the state’s attorney’s office, a number of deposits made to the account of Lydia McKee Odom, 33, and her husband, Kenneth Odom, matched the dates and amounts of withdrawals made from three member accounts. The transactions represented $4,100, $16,000, and $10,800, respectively.

The transactions were discovered during an audit.
