ORLANDO, Fla. – Fairwinds CU said it has renewed its membership in First Data Corp.’s STAR electronic funds transfer network and named STAR its preferred provider of PIN-secured debit point-of-sale and ATM access.
The $1.5 billion credit union has selected First Data to provide credit, debit and ATM processing, terminal driving for its 55 ATMs, risk and fraud services, and loyalty program management.
Fairwinds has been a STAR member since 1990.
First Data is a wholly owned subsidiary of private equity fund Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co.
