Fiserv Acquisition To Help Clients ManageHSAs

BROOKFIELD, Wis. - (01/10/06) -- Fiserv announced Monday it hasacquired CareGain Inc., an East Windsor, N.J., administrator ofconsumer-directed healthcare accounts. The company will be a keyelement in Fiserv's initiative to help health plans and financialinstitutions implement and manage private healthcare accounts, likeHealth Savings Accounts. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.CareGain will operate as a unit of Fiserv Health.
