BROOKFIELD, Wis. - (05/17/06 -- Fiserv, the nation's largest privatesector check processor, said Tuesday it has opened a new item andcheck processing center in Helena, Montana to serve area banks andcredit unions. Services provided at the facility will flowseamlessly into the Fiserv Clearing Network, one of the largest inthe nation. Fiserv now operates 52 check and image processingcenters around the country and is the largest check processor inthe U.S. outside of the Federal Reserve.
