ALEXANDRIA, Va. - (11/25/04) -- Jetstream FCU has been approved forone of the biggest field of membership expansions ever granted byNCUA, allowing the $90 million credit union, chartered as Miami FAAFCU, to serve almost two million people surrounding its Miami Lakesheadquarters. The federal regulator also said it approved 20low-income expansions, the largest of which will allow Kern FCU,Bakersfield, Calif., to serve 675,000 people in Kern County; andCoast-Tel FCU, Salinas, Calif., to serve 425,000 residents ofMonterey County.
