Florida Shared Branching Network Posts $602K Rebate

Florida Credit Unions Shared Services announced a $602,776 patronage rebate and dividend to its participating CUs and stockholders in 2015.

The 18th annual rebate represents an increase of 5.3% from the previous year, providing a total of $8.1 million dollars in aggregate back to its participants and shareholders, the Florida credit union network, said in a news release Monday.

The Florida network—which does business as Shared Services for Credit Unions (SS4CU), has 357 facilities that offers members access to nearly 5,500 shared branch locations nationwide represented by more than 1,800 credit unions that participate in the shared services.

"As we move forward, SS4CU is firmly committed to continuing the tradition and adding value to our participants and shareholders by expanding and evolving with the credit union industry,” said the firm’s chairman, Allan Prindle, in a statement.
