Former credit union CEO hit with prohibition order

The National Credit Union Administration on Thursday banned a former credit union CEO from having any involvement in the affairs of a federally insured financial institution.

Linda Pelham, a former employee at $35 million-asset Everglades FCU in Clewiston, Fla., received the agency’s only prohibition order for the month of January. Pelham was president and CEO of Everglades FCU from 1980 to 2013, according to her LinkedIn page.

According to NCUA, Pelham agreed and consented to the prohibition order and also agreed to comply with all of its terms in order to settle and resolve claims made against her. Those claims were not made public.
