NATURAL BRIDGE, N.Y. – The former manager of United Neighbors FCU here has admitted to embezzling more than $34,000 from the credit union.
Mary E. Weaver Kjersem, 44, has been charged with third-degree grand larceny and released without bail. Police allege the funds were taken between Jan. 1 and Nov. 3 of this year.
Authorities were made aware of the alleged theft by committee members at UNFCU.
