Gas & Electric Credit Union has become the first credit union to use CuServEvolution-ASP, a new hosted core processing solution from Harland Financial Solutions, Inc., Atlanta.
Designed for smaller credit unions, it features a Windows-based teller platform that includes item processing, loans, deposits, payroll and an integrated general ledger. "A robust report writer and image ID capability are also available, along with optional features for Internet banking, telephone banking, credit bureau reporting and optical disk storage," the company said. CuServ Evolution-ASP is delivered through Harland's Enterprise Service Center (ESC) in Des Moines, Iowa.
"Outsourcing our data processing provides us with all the functionality our credit union needs and allows us to focus on serving our members rather than managing the system internally," said Trudy Koppen, manager of Gas & Electric Credit Union, Postal Employees Credit Union and Frontier Credit Union. "We plan on moving our other two credit unions to the ASP delivery as soon as possible."
Harland Financial Solutions currently provides core processing to more than 660 credit unions nationwide, through the comprehensive ULTRADATA(r) System.
