Gateway Metro Federal Credit Union in Swansea, Ill., has named Jay Lewis president and chief executive.
The $168 million-asset credit union will promote Lewis to the position from his current role as chief financial officer. Lewis has worked at Gateway since 2000.
Lewis will succeed Larry Pixley, who will retire on Dec. 31. Pixley has been CEO since 2010 and he joined Gateway in 1999.
Gateway was established in 1935 and 10 offices in the St. Louis area.
