Joining their credit union counterparts in Washington State, Georgia's CUs also aired advertising during the recent Super Bowl. The spot, entitled "Georgia Credit Unions, You'll Like Us Better," was funded cooperatively by Associated Credit Union, Delta Community Credit Union, Georgia Telco Credit Union and Lockheed Georgia Employees' FCU. Georgia Cus had earlier aired a spot during the January 2006 Nokia Sugar Bowl, which was played in Atlanta. The Super Bowl commercial reached more than 878,000 households in metro Atlanta and surrounding areas, according to the Georgia Credit Union Affiliates. As part of the Super Bowl buy, the spot also aired during the following week. The commercial stressed that credit unions are a great place to obtain loans, concluding with the 'You'll Like Us Better' tagline.
